I feel like over summer I have so much extra free time since I am out of school that I become less productive. The structure of school helps me stay on top of my nonschool shiz. I have a lot less time to do things during school and I am better at planning my day because of it.
Summer is officially in session! I finished my last semester of college and I am so excited for these next couple of months. I am so excited for this summer, I have so much fun wedding planning to do, but there are so many fun activities for the summer months.
I’ve had so many exciting things happening in my life. I’ll be getting married in October and I’ve found a career that I love and I get to pursue! There are so many things that happen have just fallen into place and I can just see Gods hand in everything, it gives me chills sometimes when I think about it! My life path has changed so much in the last two years. God has provided such an amazing way for me and it all started with choosing to stay home for college and go to Lonestar. My life would be drastically different if I had chosen to go off to school.
This post is sponsored by a caught up college student and a rainy Tuesday. I honestly believe Netflix is one of the greatest businesses the world has ever seen. Being able to being watch seasons and seasons of shows or rewatching “The Breakfast Club” 50 times is exactly what this generation needed. We thrive off of quick responses and satisfaction and that’s what Netflix has created, but when the show ends sometimes it’s hard to find another show to dive into.
I have only recently been able to have Sunday’s off with my new job position. I have been loving having a day off from school and work on the same day. That is something I have never been able to have since I started working. I would come home from church and eat and typically go to work shortly after.
But, now. Now I get to enjoy a nice Sunday off doing whatever I want. This post is all about thing to do on a Sunday. There is just something about Sunday that makes the day a relaxing day.

I just bought a car!! (Eep) It was such an exciting moment and I was able to do it all on my own which was super important to me. I decided to write some ways I was able to save money without losing out on the things I loved. This helps with big purchases or even just budgeting for Christmas gifts to get everyone you love something they will love. Continue reading

I love fall. I love everything about it. The atmosphere just makes me so happy, although in Houston we don’t get much of a temp drop until closer to the end of November, but we get our days. Although I do wish I was in Stars Hollow because they have the absolute best fall atmosphere. With fall comes Halloween. When I was younger I would get all dressed up and go out and trick-or-treat! I had some pretty great costumes: Mulan, Bell, Bride of Frankenstein and so much more. But, as I got older and trick-or-treated less it was hard to find fun things to do on Halloween night. Here’s a list of trick-or-treating alternatives: Continue reading
