The “no-poo” phenomenon has just taken off and that is all fine and good, but I don’t have the time or the patience to wait for my hair to get acclimated. I honestly don’t think using dry shampoo is any better than using regular shampoo. So I went on the hunt for some natural hair care products and here are a few of my favs.
I am really trying to grow out my hair and make it healthy for the wedding (93 days, but who is counting). I am trying to not use heat or anything that will damage my hair and I am planning on getting a trim or two before the wedding to help my hair grow. But, I figured using all natural product on my hair would just be added help! Let’s get started!
These shampoos are both all natural and sold at Target I did see them sold at a Marshalls near me for a little cheaper! I felt like I had to use more shampoo to get my hair covered than I did for my normal shampoo, but I my hair feels so much better once it’s dry. I love the Tea Tree & Lemon Sage one a little better than the coconut milk. I liked the smell of it a lot better and my hair had more of a curling wave to it which I really loved! I do like the Coconut Milk shampoo it smells like legit coconut and gives my hair a refreshed look.
I am honestly not sure how natural this shampoo is, but it is pretty natural for a hair lightening shampoo. I love my brown hair, but I do like it when it is a little lighter of a brown. I got this shampoo last summer and used it and saw the results almost immediately. This shampoo doesn’t have any bleach or anything to lighten the hair except lemon and honey to attract the sun ( which is why I consider it a natural product). I have only found it at Walgreens and it is a little pricey but SO worth it! I will usually wash my hair with it when I know I will be outside a lot within the next few days. (the labeling is in Spanish so if you can read it hmu with the info)
I tried out the Hask Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner. They both smell SO good! The shampoo is good, but my hair felt a little waxy in the shower and felt very thick as I was trying to dry it. I would definitely recommend it if you have thinner hair. It gives a lot of volume to the hair. I LOVE this conditioner. I have super super thick hair and I can’t live without conditioner. I was looking for a conditioner to try out and I’ve heard a lot of good things about this conditioner so I decided to give it a try and I fell in love. I love the fact that you can use it on wet hair or dry hair. I can get right out of the shower spray it in and brush my hair out, but if the next day I get some crazy tangle I can spray it in and it gets the tangle out with such ease!
If you have any natural products for hair or skin that you love comment them below or any tips on how to easily grow out your hair! I would love to hear them all!
