7 ways to spend a lazy Sunday

I have only recently been able to have Sunday’s off with my new job position. I have been loving having a day off from school and work on the same day. That is something I have never been able to have since I started working. I would come home from church and eat and typically go to work shortly after.

But, now. Now I get to enjoy a nice Sunday off doing whatever I want. This post is all about thing to do on a Sunday. There is just something about Sunday that makes the day a relaxing day.

IMG_0729.JPGSunday’s can be spent doing homework (eye roll) I know. But, if you procrastinate you can get everything done before the week of due dates OR you can get ahead of the game and get prepared for the week.

Spend your Sunday creating. Whether you are blogging or watercolor, do something you love. Just have a moment that is all about you.

IMG_1963.JPGNow I feel like this one is a no-brainer, but you can NAP. Abraham Lincoln did it and so can you! Nap nap and take more naps. Most days I go from school to work and although I get good sleep it is nice to take a minute and nap when it is still light outside.

IMG_1321.JPGTry out new places, explore your city! Find a new place to study during the week or find a local coffee shop to just unwind and have a good cup of Jo.

IMG_1287.JPGDuring the week it is so hard to make a big yummy breakfast so on Sunday’s have breakfast for lunch and enjoy a breakfast taco. This is probably one of my favs to do on the weekend. During the week I am lucky if I wake up in enough time to do my hair let alone make breakfast tacos so I take any chance I get for a good breakfast.

Do your nails and pamper yourself. Take a bubble bath, put on a face mask. Do something that you don’t always have time for during the week. Trust me, you’ll have a much better Monday after doing this on Sunday.

Just be. The week can be so chaotic some Sunday’s I just want to be. I just want to sit and do nothing or go out and do everything, but just being is sometimes what I need. I may skip plans I know I want to go on but my body is telling me not to. Sometimes all your body needs is to just slow down. I love hammocking and sometimes that is my time to just relax and just be.
