A complete guide to good drugstore makeup

I am really excited about this post, so excited I made a YouTube video to go along, you can check it out here. I love finding a cheap alternative without losing the goodness. When I go to get makeup I want to get good makeup, of course, but that doesn’t mean dropping a bunch of money. I’ve looked for articles with makeup recommendations that don’t blow the bank and sometimes those recommendations have products that blow the bank.
I decided to go through my makeup bag and give y’all some makeup ideas on a budget. Now I am no expert in makeup and if you know me you know I am not obsessed with makeup so this is really just basic makeup.

So these are my basic foundation and coverup. I use NYX photo loving primer to give my face and even coverage, Covergirl TruBlend liquid foundation in the lightest shade, NYX HD studio photogenic concealer and NYX HD finishing powder at the end of it all. I love the foundation it is so light and airy, it really does blend with your skin. The NYX concealer is amazing it really conceals and covers any blemish. I only recently started using the finishing powder and I really have liked it, I feel like it gives my face a finished look.

These are the products I use to contour and highlight. I use the contour from the Loreal infallible pro-contour I only use the contour but it is the best contour I have found so it’s worth it even if I don’t use the highlight. The highlight I do use is Loreal true match lumi, it is amazing it is a great highlight/blush combo. I use the NYX Wonder Stick highlight on my nose and forehead. It is a great highlighter.

img_2030This is what I use on my eyes. I use Covergirl lash blast mascara and Almay liquid eyeliner on my top part of my eyes and then Covergirl eyeliner duo pencil on my bottom eye. For my brows, I use Maybelline Brow Drama pro palette to shape and darken my brows and highlight the under part. The Maybelline Brow Drama sculpting brow mascara is what I whip on after I shape to give my brows a finished look and keeps on the hairs in place.

I love finding great products without spending a lot of money. I hope this post helped you find cheap alternatives to great makeup.
