With finals coming around the corner and work my schedule is so tight. Every single minute is accounted for and sometimes I feel like there just isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done that I want to get done or even have a minute to myself. There are so many ways to keep me from going crazy by just doing a few things a day! I use my Apple Watch for a lot of this, but these tips can work even without it!
I use the breath function on the watch to remind myself to take a moment for myself. Whether I scroll through Instagram or I just sit in silence it gives me a chance to remove myself from whatever it is I am doing. It is a nice break in the middle of chaos when normally it is hard to break away from the textbooks and notes.
On the Apple Watch, they have an activity function as well- sitting in classes or at your desk studying it is important to get up from your chair and move around. This applicatoin helps you do that.
I create a to-do list and cross things off as I get them done. Even if it is not something significant I still feel a sense of accomplishment to write that line through whatever activity or responsibility I had completed.
Make yourself a schedule and allow time for the fun stuff. Make sure you get all of your responsibilities and studying done, but schedule some time to binge an episode or two on Netflix or go walk your dog or go to the gym. Something that you can just focus on yourself.
OMG. I had to stop by because that feature photo has the same watch that my boyfriend is getting me for Christmas…eep! I can’t wait for it! Now I’m even more excited since you seem to use it so well!
