After reading Living the Grey Life’s post about a delicious pita sandwich I decided to figure out how to incorporate pitas in every meal!
Breakfast:
It’s a pretty simple breakfast that can be quick. Whip up some eggs and bacon and just fill the pita up and add some cheese or salsa. Whatever you like in your regular breakfast can fit in the pita.
That’s my favorite part of pitas that you can put anything in them!
Lunch:
Essentially you use the pita as a normal sandwich with whatever lunch meat and cheese you like, also add some veggies to give the pita some crunch.
Dinner:
This was a southwestern themed meal. I put chicken, lettuce, corn, tortilla strips, cheese, and advocado. This is probably my new favorite meal! It’s quick, easy and delicious. It is also a healthy alternative compared to a regular old sandwich.
