Tubing has become one of my favorite summer activities and this was Jeremy and I’s second tubing adventure. We went to San Marcos and tubed their last summer so we decided to try the Comal river in New Braunfels.
It was about a two-hour ride, but so fun. There was a chute then made it kinda adventurous and the river had a few slow spots, but it was a pretty consistent flow. It was too crowded but not too secluded. It flowed next to Schlitterbahn, but you didn’t really notice the park.
After the float we went a grabbed some pizza at D’s. It’s right next to the last public exit on the river and the pizza is amazing! It was perfect after sitting in the hot sun for a few hours.
We explored a little of the town and went to the oldest bakery in Texas! It was so yummy and full of sweet treats from cakes and pies to cannoli’s and tarts!
The best part of going to new city’s or towns is exploring the city and finding the things or places that make that city special. Not the Whataburgers or OliveGarden, but the family owned places.
