For spring break, my Mom and I took a day trip to Waco to visit the infamous Magnolia Market from HGTV Fixer Upper! The almost three-hour drive was totally worth it, we had an amazing time!
We drove through some super cute small towns!
But, when we got to Magnolia Market it was a ZOO! There were easily over a thousand people in line to get into the store so we decided to grab some coffee at Common Ground. Then we went to find some lunch. After literally over an hour trying to find somewhere cool and nonchain restaurant we landed at the Twisted Root! Now, this place had such a cool vibe to it! From the artwork on the outside and inside walls to the music playing this place had such a great aesthetic and the burgers were AMAZING!
When we finally made it back the holy grail it was better than ever! Not only was the line shorter, but the store was the cutest! Magnolia Market was had so many cute things, but the best part was knowing that Chip and Joanna had actually been there. Seeing the store after following along with the show was so surreal. We were totally geeked out!
All and all it was a pretty rad trip!
