Comparison

It is so easy to compare.

Compare clothes, hair or makeup. But, recently I have found myself comparing what I THINK someone’s relationship with Christ is to mine.

I see there social media post or see them at church and think ‘wow they really know Jesus’, but in reality, I have NO idea what kind of relationship they have.

I’m comparing their outward expressions to my inward baggage.

I don’t see their struggles.

I don’t see it when they don’t journal or read their bible.

I don’t hear the thought in their head or the whispers they breathe or the cuss words they say in traffic.

We need to stop comparing someone’s outward appearance to the parts of us that aren’t perfectly packaged for the world.
